KidTown Children's Ministry
KidTown Babies (infants and toddlers)
Our workers want to provide your baby or toddler a loving environment in which they can relax while you listen to the sermon and praise God in the main worship service. We do this by maintaining a small ratio of workers to babies (usually 1:2) and by giving them all the attention they can take! Let us take care of your little one; it would be our joy to do so!
KidTown Kids (Potty trained through 5th grade)
At Midtown Baptist Temple, we realize that the next generation is of vital importance to our city. Using the Bible, our goal is to teach biblical themes to our kids so that they can grow with a deep understanding of who God is. The best way to get kids to follow God is to show how worthy He is to be followed! And our God is worthy! Currently, we are systematically taking our kids through the New Testament with a God centered focus on well known and some not so well known New Testament lessons. We do this in a fun, relaxed learning environment that includes a little bit of everything for all types of learners. Below is a sample of the themes that will be presented and a sample of our Sunday morning schedule.
God Centered Themes (just a sample of the many lessons the Bible teaches!)
- God communicates with man.
- God is faithful.
- God is merciful, loving and gracious.
- Man is a sinner and unable to save himself; man needs God.
- God is all-powerful.
- God is all-knowing.
