Serve

At Midtown Baptist Temple, we have taken on the idea of "every member a minister". This does not mean that we all get up and preach on Sunday mornings, but we all share the responsibility of meeting the needs in our church. We believe that every member has been supernaturally gifted to serve the body in one function or another. God has given us the vision of reaching the Midtown community, Kansas City metro, and, eventually, the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. The only way we can accomplish this incredible vision is if we are all engaged together!

Serving the body of Christ, the church, is the way you can experience God's very best in your life. You were made for this! Whether it is changing a diaper, greeting a visitor, or pushing buttons on a sound board, there is a place for you to exercise the gift that God has given you. There is no greater joy than knowing that you are eternally impacting lives with a willing and serving heart. Knowing this, the question is not "will you serve", the right question is "where will you serve?"
